Organic Astragalus Root - Loose Leaf Botanical

About this product

Astragalus Root (Astragalus membranaceus) is one of the most treasured herbs in Chinese medicine. The perennial plant, native to China, Mongolia and North Korea, is left to grow for several years before the deep roots are harvested. The dried root can be used as a tincture, tea or cooked down into soups and broths. Astragalus is commonly referred to as an adaptogen, which means it helps to support the body’s response to stress and illness. Many of the active compounds in astragalus root work to aid the immune system’s defenses. The flavonoids, amino acids and minerals make this herbal remedy an excellent boost to your daily routine.
