What does Sinclair do?
Sinclair, our free AI shopping companion, reads 12 months of a product's real Amazon price history and tells you whether the price in front of you is actually good. The answer appears as one plain verdict on the product page, before you buy. There is no login, no chart to interpret, and nothing to click.
Does it cost anything?
No. The verdict is free, and it will stay free forever. Founding membership is a separate thing for the premium tools we are building: it is free to reserve, nothing is paid until we launch, and reserving a place locks your rate at $8.97/month for life.
Why don't I see the badge?
Sinclair works only on Amazon.com product pages, so search results, category pages, and other websites will not show a badge. If you are on a product page and nothing appears, reload the page and give it a second.
If it is still missing, open chrome://extensions and confirm that Sinclair by True Finds is installed and switched on.
What does the extension read?
One thing: the product identifier for the page you are on, called an ASIN. It does not read your browsing history, it does not follow you across sites, and Chrome will not let it read any website other than Amazon.com.

What do the four verdicts mean?
GENUINE DEAL is a real low against what the product has actually sold for. INFLATED means the discount is not real, because the "was" price is not what this really sells for. TYPICAL PRICE is the normal price, and NOT ENOUGH DATA means the price record is too thin to judge, which we would rather say than guess.

How do I remove it?
Open chrome://extensions, find Sinclair by True Finds, and click Remove. That is the whole process, and you never have to ask us for permission to leave.
The small amount Sinclair keeps, a cached verdict and a note of a deal you opened, is stored in your own browser, so clearing your browser data clears it.
Do you get paid if I buy?
Yes. When you press "Get this deal" you go to a True Finds deal page, and from there to Amazon. If you buy, we may earn an Amazon commission at no extra cost to you.
Sinclair’s verdicts are always free and independent. A product that earns us nothing gets the same reading as a product that does, and calling an inflated price inflated is the entire point of the tool.
