Who we are
True Finds is operated by TrueFinds Technologies. "We", "us" and "our" mean TrueFinds Technologies. These terms cover the Sinclair browser extension, the truefinds.ai website, and the TrueFinds connection that AI assistants such as Muse can use (together, "True Finds").
By using True Finds you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What True Finds does
Sinclair, your AI shopping companion, reads a product's recorded price history and gives one plain verdict: GENUINE DEAL, INFLATED, TYPICAL PRICE or NOT ENOUGH DATA. Where the record is younger, we may show an Early Read, which states only what the record shows and for how many days. The website publishes verdicts on real products, shopping guides and deal pages. The AI connection answers the same questions for an assistant you have chosen to connect.
True Finds is free to use. Paid memberships, when we offer them, will come with their own terms at the point of purchase.
Verdicts are information, not a promise
A verdict describes what our price record shows at the time it was produced. Prices change, stores change their listings, and a record can be incomplete. We work hard to get every verdict right and we correct them when the record changes, but we do not guarantee that a price, a discount or a verdict is accurate, complete or current.
A verdict is not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy. The decision to buy is always yours, and the store's own page is the final word on its price and terms.
We do not sell products
True Finds does not sell anything you buy through it. When you follow a link to a store, your purchase is between you and that store, under that store's terms, prices, shipping and return policies. Questions about an order go to the store.
How we earn money
Some links on True Finds are affiliate links. If you buy after following one, we may earn a commission from the store or its affiliate network, at no extra cost to you. Sinclair’s verdicts are always free and independent: a product that earns us nothing gets the same reading as one that does.
Using True Finds fairly
Please use True Finds only for lawful, personal shopping purposes. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or bulk download our verdicts, records or pages, or resell or republish them as a data product;
- overload, probe or interfere with our services, including by exceeding the request limits on our AI connection;
- misrepresent a True Finds verdict or suggest that we endorse a product or store when we have not;
- reverse engineer the extension or the service except where the law allows it.
We may limit or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.
AI assistants
When you connect True Finds to an AI assistant, the assistant sends us the product or brand you ask about and shows you our answer. The assistant is run by its own provider under its own terms, and we are not responsible for how it uses or presents our answers. The TrueFinds connection only answers questions; it cannot place orders or make payments for you.
Your privacy
We will never sell your personal information. What we collect, and what we never do, is set out in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Our content
The True Finds name, the Sinclair name, our verdicts, text, designs and software belong to us or our licensors. You may share links to our pages and quote a verdict with credit to True Finds. Store names, product names and trademarks belong to their owners and appear only to identify the products we describe.
No warranties
True Finds is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a purchase you make at a store. Our total liability for any claim relating to True Finds is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms as True Finds grows. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will say so on the site. Using True Finds after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.
