About this product
A nominal 22x24x1 return takes a filter at 21 7/8" x 23 7/8" x 3/4" actual, sized to drop into the grille without binding. This is another size that doesn't appear at most retail outlets, which is one of the reasons odd-size buyers end up ordering direct from manufacturers. MERV 8 handles standard residential dust and pollen filtration. MERV 11 captures pet dander, smoke residue, and most common household allergens. MERV 13 covers fine particulates including bacteria, virus-carrying droplets, and wildfire smoke. Pleated synthetic media with an electrostatic charge built into the fibers handles the filtration work. The pleats give you substantially more surface area than a flat fiberglass filter at the same nominal size, which is what extends service life to a 60-to-90-day window under typical residential conditions. The electrostatic charge improves capture of sub-micron particles, where mechanical filtration alone reaches its physical limits. Manufactured in the USA by Con-Air Industries at the Orlando, Florida facility. Cardboard frame, reinforced for shape retention under blower suction. MERV 13 wants a 30-to-60-day change interval because higher filtration grades load up faster than lower MERV options. For households with pets, plan on the shorter end of any service interval regardless of MERV grade.

- GENUINE DEAL
- A real low. Good time to buy.
- INFLATED
- Not a real discount. The 'was' price is not what this really sells for.
- TYPICAL PRICE
- Normal price. Fine to buy if you need it.
- NOT ENOUGH DATA
- Too new to judge. Not enough price history yet.
