30x30x1 Aerostar Air Filter

About this product

Square 30x30x1 returns are uncommon enough that hardware stores don't stock them, which is why most homeowners end up ordering direct. This Aerostar measures 29 7/8" x 29 7/8" x 3/4" actual, built to the nominal 30x30x1 spec. Larger-residential applications with a single oversized return often run this size rather than splitting filtration across multiple smaller grilles. MERV 8 covers standard residential filtration. MERV 11 handles pet households and most common allergens. MERV 13 captures fine particulates including bacteria, virus-carrying droplets, and wildfire smoke - the grade to choose for households with respiratory health concerns. Pleated synthetic media with an electrostatic charge built into the fibers does the actual work. The pleats give you substantially more surface area than a flat fiberglass filter at the same nominal size, which extends the service life to a 60-to-90-day window under typical conditions. The electrostatic charge catches sub-micron particles where mechanical filtration alone reaches its physical limits. Manufactured in the USA by Con-Air Industries at the Orlando, Florida facility. The cardboard frame is reinforced to maintain shape under blower suction - critical at this nominal size because larger filters experience proportionally more total suction force across the filter face.

• Electrostatically charged pleated synthetic media: Captures sub-micron particles and allergens for improved air quality
• Multiple MERV ratings available: MERV 8 for standard filtration, MERV 11 for pet households, MERV 13 for fine particulates
• Reinforced cardboard frame: Maintains shape under blower suction for consistent performance
• Longer service life: Pleated design extends filter life to 60 to 90 days under typical conditions
• Manufactured in the USA: Ensures quality and reliability
